Supply Chains Under Cyberattack
Take the perspective of a supply-chain resilience expert. Map how a cyberattack on a midstream logistics or food-distribution company can cascade into downstream shortages, contract disputes, reputational damage, and operational shutdowns. Then design a resilience plan covering backup systems, segmentation, manual fallbacks, vendor risk management, inventory strategy, communication protocols, and recovery drills. Compare the tradeoff between efficiency and redundancy, and explain which parts of the supply chain should be protected with the highest priority. Finish with a crisis playbook for the first 72 hours after a major systems outage.
