Rethink immigration and belonging

You are asked to redesign a country’s visa and residency system so it supports economic needs while treating foreign residents fairly. Analyze how different visa models affect workers, families, employers, universities, and local communities. Consider the tradeoff between flexibility and security, including how residency rules can encourage contribution, discourage abuse, or inadvertently push out people who have already built lives in the country.
